Manages the SPR Industrial Pretreatment Program. This includes managing staff and programs to ensure commercial and industrial users achieve compliance with industrial pretreatment regulations. The administrator is responsible for oversight of administration of industrial user permits, sector control and area characterization efforts, and special studies and data collection efforts related to industrial pretreatment. Other duties include budgeting, local ordinance development, and initiation of necessary enforcement actions. The Administrator is also responsible for providing strategic direction to the program and developing and coaching pretreatment staff.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental or Technical Management, Chemistry, Environmental or Civil Engineering, or Environmental Sciences

Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Industrial Pretreatment or related environmental regulatory program; at least 1 year of supervisory experience

Required Driver’s License: Valid Colorado driver’s license and a clear or acceptable MVR

An equivalent combination of education, training and relevant job experience may be substituted.

Salary/Wage Amount or Range:
$101,600 - $152,400
