The Industrial Pretreatment Specialist II regulates wastewater discharges from industrial and commercial users in the South Platte Renew service area. The Specialist II performs professional and technical work in the enforcement, documentation, and compliance. The Specialist II develops and enforces pretreatment permits, establishes compliance schedules, conducts sampling and inspections, and evaluates reporting requirements for industrial users. Effective communication with customers, regulators, and SPR staff is also important to this position.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Environmental Science, or Civil, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering, or other related program

Work Experience: Three (3) years’ experience in an Industrial Pretreatment Program or related environmental regulatory field

Required Driver’s License: Valid Colorado driver’s license and a clear or acceptable MVR

An equivalent combination of education, training and relevant job experience may be substituted.

$70,400 - $105,600
