The Operations Supervisor is a working supervisor position and is responsible for leading and performing plant operations duties including: monitoring and adjusting physical, chemical and biological treatment processes. Operations Supervisors are also responsible for staff training, oversight, coaching and mentoring. The approximate split of duties is one third administrative/supervisory duties and two thirds leading and performing work. Works under the supervision of the Operations Manager and exercises a high level of independent work and decision making.

Qualifications:
Graduation from High School or equivalent diploma.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience operating a water or wastewater facility.
Must possess a valid State of Colorado ‘A’ Wastewater license, or be able to obtain one through reciprocity or renewal.
Advanced working knowledge of wastewater treatment plant operations, SCADA applications, biological and chemical processes, regulatory application and operating requirements, laboratory procedures and processes including equipment operation and sampling methodology.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Valid Colorado driver’s license and a clear or acceptable MVR.
