Details:
Water Operators are responsible for the construction, maintenance and repair of the water system which provides service to Brush. Some of the duties include: performs work in the construction, maintenance and repair of lines, hydrants, wells, lift station, booster pump, tanks, control systems and dosing equipment; cuts asphalt, digs trenches, back fills and tamps; installs taps, mains, valves, tees and crosses; locates valves and underground lines; flushes water systems; reads meters; collects samples and assists in keeping records.
Able to assist other departments as needed.
This position requires living within 30 minutes to the City of Brush! for emergencies
Must be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent and
have a valid driver’s license


Qualifications:
D Certification is required or able to be obtained within 6 months of hire. High School Diploma or Equivalent
Possess or be able to obtain a Class "I" Distribution System License and a Class "I" Collection
System License.
