Details:
Responsibilities: To ensure the continuous operation of facilities and compliance with permits, including:
 Wastewater systems operations and sampling
 Monitor/adjust automatic control devices
 Accurately record data from gauges and meters,
 Interpret facility, piping and distribution programs,
 Recognize unusual, inefficient or dangerous operating conditions and take necessary action
 Keep records and make written reports of work performed,
 Proper use of PPE and safely handle caustic and other hazardous chemicals
 Equipment repair and cleaning
 Maintain effective communication with management and working relationships.
Minimum Expectations: Candidates should demonstrate the following:
 Problem-solving and critical thinking skills and ability to work independently.
 Strong work ethic, professionalism, and effective communication.
 Willing to work outdoors (including inclement weather), accommodate weather-dependent scheduling changes and travel, and carry up to 50-pound loads.


Qualifications:
This job requires a high school diploma or equivalent. HTG prefer applicants who have completed a certificate or degree program in a related field, such as environmental science or wastewater treatment technology, with a knowledge of treatment principles, methods and practices. OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills are also desired.
