Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily server support for Castle Rock Water’s SCADA system.
Manages and tests the OT disaster recovery and business continuity plan, ensuring critical SCADA/ICS systems are resilient and can recover quickly in the event of an outage or cybersecurity incident.
Ensures server stability and reliability. Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and installing patch updates on servers.
Performs backup support of security technology, including firewalls, servers and wireless access points.
Responsible for virus protection, planning and implementation.
Follows server standards and maintains standards through documentation and cross-training of Instrument and Control Technicians.
Provides 2 level support for complex server and network issues.
Responsible for the Town’s storage area network (SAN) installation, maintenance and support.
Manages CRW’s virtual server infrastructure (VMware) and configures virtual server clusters.
Responsible for installation and maintenance of Active Directory infrastructure, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft SQL Server and CRW’s backup and archiving system.
Manages and supports the CRW/SCADA Domain for all servers, clients and service laptops.
Implement and maintain OT solutions based on proven security architectures.
Participate in the design, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of CRW OT System.
Collaborates with the IT security team to apply and maintain cybersecurity frameworks and compliance specific to OT, including implementation of zero-trust architectures where applicable.
Conducts regular risk assessments and vulnerability scanning to ensure that CRW’s OT systems align with industry cybersecurity practices.
Monitors industry direction and keeps abreast of technology trends.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Physical Demands:
May include exertion of moderate physical effort to include lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials up to 50 pounds
Frequent performance of activities requiring a full range of body movement including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling/bending, crouching, crawling, and/or twisting
Frequent hand/eye coordination to operate tools and electrical equipment as well as for driving equipment and vehicles
Vision for reading, recording and interpreting information
Speech communication and hearing to maintain communication with employees and citizens
Work Environment:
Ability to drive to and physically access Town facilities
Some duties may be performed in potentially any weather and environmental conditions
Ability to safely work with and in close proximity to high voltage electrical equipment
Equipment Used:
This position may require the incumbent to occasionally use personal equipment (e.g. vehicle, cell phone, tools, etc.) in the course of their employment

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
Experience: At least three (3) years of experience and/or training that includes working with mid-size OT/ICS networks in a technical environment; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Licenses and/or Certifications: A valid Driver's License
Preferred Certifications:
VMware Certified Technical Associate or Professional
Microsoft Certifications
Cisco Certifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to demonstrate active participation in The Town of Castle Rock Values.
Robust computer and networking skills, and thorough knowledge of networking concepts, principals, and best practices
Expert at managing and supporting Microsoft Windows OS technology, including Microsoft Active Directory
Strong knowledge of virtual technology (VMWare, StarWind).
Strong knowledge of OS patching capabilities
An understanding of SCADA system communication and protocols (local area networks (LAN) wide area networks (WAN), OPC-UA and OPC-DA).
An understanding of SCADA related computer software, data structures, computer programming languages and logic, and current practices and development in the field of information technology.
Minimum of three (3) years of IT Server Operations, with experience in Operational Technology (OT)/ Industry Control Systems (ICS) being beneficial to the success of the role (Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE, IIoT, and IoT)
Excellent oral and written communication, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis skills, technical problem-solving ability, organizational skills, multitasking ability, and excellent computer skills.
Familiarity with network security best practices and compliance requirements for OT environments, specifically NERC CIP, ISA/IEC 62443, and AWWA cybersecurity guidelines and participate in SCADA Network security assessments and audits is beneficial to the role.
Experience with the development of technical design documentation and technical reports.
Knowledge of storage protocols including ISCSI and NFS for use in a virtual environment.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
