| Face-to-face Belgian event scheduled for September IAPRI members the Belgian Packaging Institute (IBE-BVI) and Ghent University’s Pack4Food are among the organizers of Packcontact – a face-to-face event to be held in Kortrijk, Belgium, in September. Described as a “network fair” with a focus on primary food packaging, it is scheduled to take place at the Kortrijk Xpo on September 22 and 23 of this year. It comprises a mix of lectures, exhibitors with an emphasis on innovation, and networking with experts in the circular packaging economy. Such was the interest in the last event that this, the third to be held, has doubled the number of lectures and exhibitors, and extended from one to two days. Alongside at least 50 specialists in different packaging materials and technologies, there will be speakers from companies including retailer Albert Hein, Tetra Pak, Kezzler – and Pack4Food.
