| Michigan State University School of Packaging Job Opening for Assistant Professor - Wood and Cellulosic-Based Packaging The School of Packaging (SoP) at Michigan State University (MSU) invites applications for a full-time, 9-month tenure track Assistant Professor position with 50% research, 40% teaching, and 10% service assignment with an anticipated start date of August 16, 2022. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a nationally and internationally recognized multidisciplinary research program that builds collaboratively on MSU’s strengths, focusing on using cellulosic-based and wood materials to provide novel packaging with enhanced functionality and improved sustainability. The candidate will establish an innovative research program, secure competitive funding, publish in high-impact peer-reviewed journals, and establish strong ties with the packaging and related industries.
