Update on Plans for IAPRI Communities of Practice in 2022 With the addition of the University Education Community of Practice under development, IAPRI now has five communities planning activities for 2022. ![]() The community of practice on Sustainable Packaging is currently preparing for the IAPRI conference in Bangkok. The theme for this year is “Barrier packaging vs. circularity, can the two overlap?”. Chair Carlos Diaz-Acosta says he continues to meet with Alexander Bardenshtein, and Sandeep Kulkarni to have a conversation around sustainable packaging and prepare for the session. The session will follow the format of a short presentation followed by a guided discussion. More information about the Sustainable Packaging CoP can be found here Click Here Distribution Packaging CoP members are meeting on either February 22 or 23 via Zoom with two meetings to facilitate the time difference for all the members. According to Chair Vincent Rouillard this is an effort to re-acquaint us with each-other and explore ways to improve interaction and collaboration within the group. The Active & Intelligent Packaging CoP is planning to have the member meeting at the IAPRI conference in Bangkok. At the meeting in Bangkok, online or hybrid is yet open. We will work on an action plan based on the potential activities we defined at the meeting we had with the group.
