| You really missed it, if you didn’t travel to India! I am sorry if you were not able to attend, but you really missed a wonderful few days in Navi Mumbai. It was fabulous to experience the feeling of IAPRI members coming together once again to share our research, our stories from the past few years and really enjoying seeing old friends and meeting new ones. I missed last year in Thailand because of health reasons so I don’t know if that is how others felt last year. But I do know that those who traveled to India this year were very happy they made the effort. It was fabulous and well run event. Dr. Prasad Iyer, the faculty and staff, and the students of SIES School of Packaging provided an experience no one will ever forget. It was right up there with the best of the best of IAPRI conferences. Since we are all just getting back from traveling, there is not enough time to create articles with information and show some pictures of the presentations and social events, but those will be coming in the next few months. The Conference Spotlight will cover some of the outstanding papers. We will post some pictures showing how we were exposed to the marvelous culture of India. The winners of the conference awards sponsored by Lansmont and Dr. Paul Singh will be presented. COVID took away from us the outstanding annual event that IAPRI had built up over the last many years. The event in Thailand and now India have brought back that feeling that only IAPRI can provide.
