You are invited to a PESA Market Outlook Luncheon, Featuring Marshall Adkins, Raymond James

Marshall Adkins, who leads the energy research team at Raymond James, will discuss the current growth of onshore production, unconventional gains and future price forecasts. Due to extraordinary feedback from his presentation on global energy, poverty and carbon at the 2018 PESA Annual Meeting, Dr. Scott Tinker will keynote the upcoming luncheon. Dr. Tinker is featured in the award-winning energy documentary film "Switch," and is the voice of "EarthDate," which brings weekly stories about earth and science to nearly 300 National Public Radio stations in all 50 U.S. states.

Marshall Adkins heads the award-winning Raymond James energy research team and his group is well-known for its deep insight into oil and gas fundamentals.  Adkins focuses on oilfield services and products for the firm, having spent nearly a decade in the oilfield services industry as an engineer, project manager, and financial analyst prior to joining Raymond James in 1995. Adkins began his career with BJ Services before spending several years with an advanced oilfield technology firm. Upon leaving the oil field nearly 20 years ago, he helped start the Raymond James energy equity research group. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in petroleum engineering and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Scott Tinker's passion – bringing academe, government, industry, and NGOs together to address major societal issues in energy, environment, and the economy – has led him to nearly 60 countries, where he has presented 700 keynotes and invited lectures to government, industry, academia and the public.
 
Tinker is an AAPG Halbouty Leadership Medalist, GCAGS Boyd Medalist, a Fellow of the Geologic Society of America, and has been broadly awarded by AIPG, AGI, AAPG, and TIPRO for his successful efforts to engage the public in science.
 
Tinker had a 17-year career in industry before joining The University of Texas at Austin in 2000, where he serves as director of the 275-person Bureau of Economic Geology, the State Geologist of Texas, and a professor holding the Allday Endowed Chair in the Jackson School of Geosciences. Dr. Tinker has been president of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, the Association of American State Geologists, the American Geosciences Institute, and the Gulf Coast Association of Geological Societies, and he serves on private, public, academic, and government boards.
 
Tinker co-produced and is featured in the award-winning energy documentary film, "Switch," seen by over 15 million viewers in 50 countries and used in 2000 university campuses worldwide. He is producing another film, "SwitchON" focused on energy poverty. Tinker is also the voice of "EarthDate," bringing weekly stories about earth and science to nearly 300 National Public Radio stations in all 50 U.S. states.
 
Tinker’s degrees are from the University of Colorado, the University of Michigan and Trinity University.
