In-Line Instrumentation Committee
In-Line Instrumentation Committee Mission Statement:
Inline instrumentation has become a ubiquitous part of the wastewater treatment process. The need for real-time process information has been driven by lower permit levels and the need to create more efficient treatment processes. This committee is dedicated to the professionals that support and use in-line instrumentation data. Goals and Objectives:
Provide a forum for technical exchange
Process Control/Automation Strategies, Instrument Applications, Data Management, Instrument Maintenance/Quality Control, Instrument Trial Results, Sampling
Bring together providers and users of instrumentation data
Allow networking between municipalities, vendors and engineering groups.
All water professionals involved with supplying and using instrumentation data are encouraged to join the committee. This includes: operators, laboratory staff, engineers, programmers and electricians. Committee Meetings
The committee will meet every two months. The meetings will occur on the first Wednesday of odd numbered months. Annual Instrumentation Forum
The committee will organize a series of short presentations and talks that relate to in-line instrumentation. Members are encouraged to share a presentation and help with planning. The forum will allow all RMWEA members to share their instrumentation data and experiences with the water treatment community.
