Event Name:Non-Profit Organization Committee Meeting - Securing Corporate Funding
Event Type(s):Special Interest Group Event
Description:Topic: Securing Corporate Funding: Four Key Steps to Increase Support

Corporate support represents an important income stream for many associations and non-profits. When seeking support based on the premise that “we are a good cause” or offering traditional benefits (e.g. tables at a gala dinner, conference booths), corporations reduce their spend.

Successful non-profit organizations recognize that they must go beyond standard and outdated benefits if they are to increase corporate funding. The focus of this program is to review the proven strategies and tactics to increase corporate sector revenue.

During this discussion, participants will:
  •   Learn the key steps to establish a successful sponsorship/partnership program
  •   Understand how to leverage board member and volunteers for assistance
  •   Review key financial factors that can enhance results
  •   Cover approaches to address the unique dynamic between the finance and development departments
