Indiana Psychological Association - Event Information

Event Name:Pandemic Parenting Free Webinar: Mom Guilt &
Event Type(s):Other Events
Description:IPA Member Amanda Zelechoski, J.D., Ph.D. has partnered with Lindsay Malloy, Ph.D. to create Pandemic Parenting, a collaboration between the two psychologists, scholars, and moms committed to sharing their expertise and research in ways that are immediately accessible and useful to families. This platform allows them and other experts the ability to share science-based knowledge, experience, and resources. Their goal is to build a supportive, informed community for all who care for or work with children and seek information about how to make the tough decisions ahead while coping with pandemic-related stress.

IPA is happy to share their Pandemic Parenting Exchanges (PPE) offerings:

Mom Guilt & "Good Enough" Pandemic Parenting

In this PPE, they’ll talk about the self-doubt, anxiety, and uncertainty that has come with pandemic parenting. They'll also share what the research says about “good enough’ parenting, especially in times of crisis. They'll be joined by guest, Dr. Sharon Lamb, psychologist and author of  The Not Good Enough Mother. Agata Freedle will serve as moderator to guide our conversation and pose questions that you submit.
