Introduction to CCS Scoring and Protocol Administration

Event Description
The Communication Complexity Scale is a 12-point scale that can be used to describe how an individual with minimal verbal skills communicates—including gestures and vocalizations. It can be applied to a set of assessment activities designed to evoke communication, as well as everyday activities.
This is a three-part training that includes viewing online modules ahead of the live virtual training dates. The first day of the live virtual training will be dedicated to CCS scoring, while the second day will be dedicated to learning to administer the scripted play protocol. All attendees must view modules ahead of time and attend the first day of live training but can choose to attend the second day of the live sessions based on individual needs. Follow up consultation for those who wish to become research reliable in CCS scoring or scripted protocol administration is available at an additional cost.
