Objectives:
This class will cover the fundamentals of Social Security Income planning and the associated tax planning considerations. Often clients retire in their 60s and are faced with the decision of whether to claim Social Security or tap their other pots of money. We will go through the various claiming options and their associated impact on lifetime income and tax liability. Lastly, we will examine when and how to calculate the benefit of Roth conversions for clients in their 60s.
