The City of Brandenburg - with the assistance of Frost Brown Todd entered into an agreement for a Public-Private Partnership (P3) with The Walker Company and GRW Engineers that allowed for the design, construction, and financing of a new water resource recovery facility (WRRF). This new WRRF will not only solve compliance issues with the existing facility but will also be designed and built in an expedited manner due to the construction of the adjacent Nucor steel mill. In addition to the reduced timeframe from concept to completion, the City will realize measurable cost savings with the P3 approach. In this roundtable discussion, you’ll hear from project leaders about the P3 approach and their experiences with the process, including the importance of building project relationships.
