Ryan C. Warner, PhD
Wednesday, December 7, 2:00–3:00 p.m. Eastern Time
It is well known that exposure to racism and discrimination are linked to various adverse mental health outcomes. For Black men, toxic masculinity, generational trauma, and mistrust of the healthcare system have been proven to serve as additional barriers that impact therapy retention and outcomes. Dr. Warner will provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed ways to address these challenges to boost wellness for Black men.
