UAA Aviation Policy Seminar
The University Aviation Association offers students and faculty the opportunity to interact with aviation industry leaders and members of Congress during the 2024 UAA Aviation Policy Seminar. Registration Fee is $250. Scholarships available for students and faculty.
Learning & Networking
• Students and faculty facilitators will spend the week on-site in the nation’s capital attending briefings & seminars from the NTSB, the FAA, Congressional staff, and industry associations such as NBAA,RAA, A4A
• Students will be able to network with others from across the country and gain valuable exposure to leaders in these organizations
• Students will have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of how these agencies interact in establishing aviation policy and what job opportunities may be available in the aviation industry
• Faculty and students will gain valuable insight into how they can participate in the process now and in the future
Hotel Accommodations
Hilton Washington DC National Mall The Wharf, 480 L’Enfant Plaza SW Washington, District of Columbia 20024. Offering double king bed rooms.Connected to L’Enfant Metro Station, and a 7-minute walk to the FAA, NTSB, National Mall and The Wharf. The International Spy Museum is steps away and Smithsonian Air and space museum is a 5-minute walk. The University Aviation Association for check-in beginning Monday, January 2, 2024, check-out Friday, January 6, 2024. The rate is $209 per night. You should only need to allot for dinner daily. Fast-food options are available within walking distance.
