The IDEA Committee is happy to host Dr. Maha Kumaran for a webinar on May 6, 2024 at 2pm. Dr. Kumaran completed her PhD in 2023 on the topic of equity in Canadian academic library leadership. For her dissertation, she interviewed three groups of participants – marginalized librarians (primary participants); their allies (secondary participants); and Canadian library leaders (expert participants).
At this session, Dr. Kumaran will share her findings about allyship – what helped marginalized librarians and how allies can help their colleagues.
