Event Description
Join PACCA and the team from the  iLookOut for Child Abuse Project for an interactive session of questions and answers on how this robust training program can help you and your program can meet CPSL requirements. In addition, hear from the team on how your program could participate in the effort to assess the effectiveness of the program.

The iLookOut for Child Abuse Project offers online courses about protecting and supporting children and their families, all free of charge.  iLookOut is part of Penn State College of Medicine’s Department of Humanities and Center for the Protection of Children.

The iLookOut Training can be completed over multiple sessions on your smartphone, tablet, or computer, and has 2 parts:
  1. Mandated Reporter Training:  interactive video-based storyline (3 hours total)
  2. Advanced Training:  5-12-minute animated micro-learning exercises (3 hours total)
iLookOut provides online, interactive courses initially designed for people who work or volunteer at child care programs, all of which are free of charge. iLookOut's Core Training satisfies state requirements for mandated reporter training in Pennsylvania. iLookOut's Advanced Training Courses reinforce and expand on key issues introduced in the core training. Advanced training touches on topics related to child well-being (e.g., resilience, trauma-informed care, adverse childhood experiences, substance use disorders, etc.).
