Who: Registered Mentors & Mentees...and those seriously interested in future participation in the ABCEP Mentoring Program.
Why: ABCEP's Mentoring Program is a differentiator for our organization. It provides added value for our CEP applicants and for the career development efforts of our CEP-ITs. To increase the program's value, ABCEP is instituting quarterly gatherings with the objectives to share feedback, mentoring tips, and group needs, and to refresh commitments. Secondarily, these events will increase networking, collaboration, and face-to-face time through ABCEP's Zoom platform.
When: Thursday, June 27, 2024, 12:30-1:30 pm ET
What: For this session, we'll share behind-the-scenes efforts underway to maintain the Mentoring Program in-line with ABCEP's strategic plan, clarify the mentor's two hats and expected roles depending upon the type of mentee - Applicant Advisor versus a CEP-IT Career Coach, and provide a listening session for those experienced with the program to share positives, improvements, tips, and individual stories.
How: Zoom...with cameras on! and some screen sharings.
