8 am – 12 pm: Golf Tournament at Coral Canyon Golf Course
4– 5 pm: Regenerative Treatments for the Ocular Surface with Dr. Zanna Kruoch (COPE ID: 97003-TD)
Course Description: Ocular surface disorders may result in repetitive and persistent breakdown of the epithelium which may lead to loss of vision, secondary infection and perforation. This course will discuss both medical and surgical interventions available to combat ocular inflammation, support healing and regeneration of the ocular surface with the introduction of various case presentations.
5 – 6 pm: Gonioscopy: A Look Into the Angle with Dr. Zanna Kruoch (COPE ID: 97002-GL)
Course Description: This one-hour course reviews the fundamentals of the angle structures and gonioscopy, advanced techniques such as dynamic gonioscopy and the corneal wedge and normal and abnormal findings. A methodological approach will be introduced alongside appropriate documentation.
6 – 7 pm: Life in the Scleral Landing Zone with Dr. Zanna Kruoch (COPE ID: 97001-CL)
Course Description: The ideal fit of a scleral lens can sometimes be difficult to achieve due to limitation of the scleral lens fitting set, variation in corneal and scleral curvature, and status of the ocular surface. This one-hour lecture will review various case presentations with recommendations on addressing the ill-fitting lens. Ancillary testing, such as anterior segment photography and anterior-segment optical coherence tomography, will be discussed as potential tools to aid in the fitting process.

Course Description: This course discusses methods using an excimer laser to reshape irregular corneas to improve optical property of the eye
11:30 – 12:30 pm: Pterygium Surgery- Now is the Best Time with Dr. Aaron Waite (COPE ID: 95370-PO)
Course Description: This lecture is designed to give a broad view on the causes and effects of pterygium. It will educate on the process of growth and prevention along with surgical options to correct pterygium. The lecture will offer awareness of common misconceptions and will educate on proper post operative care and expectations.
