Join the Cohasset Historicall Society at the Wilson House in Cohasset for an exclusive look into the history of the Minot’s Ledge Light with Joe Lebherz, a renowned model maker and photographer. 

*Exhibit Details:*
Joe Lebherz, a retired U.S. Coast Guard member and curator at the Maine Lighthouse Museum, has created a stunning display of the original Minot’s Ledge Light. This iron lighthouse tragically fell into the sea just 16 months after it was built, taking the lives of two assistant keepers. Through his intricate all-brass scale model and re-engineered photos, Joe explores the possible reasons behind this disaster—poor engineering, faulty iron piles, or the sheer force of the sea.

Joe Lebherz will be present to discuss the exhibit and answer any questions.
