Throughout this presentation, attendees will learn why the ‘wildfire analysis’ requirement was added to Appendix G in CEQA as part of updating the CEQA Guidelines, how to comply with this requirement, and current trends in how court decisions are ruling on this analysis in different CEQA documents. The presentation includes a review of the California Attorney General’s guidance for wildfire analysis, practical tips to prepare a defensible analysis, and examples of how to approach this analysis for different types of projects.
