Event Description
This presentation discusses the UC appeal process, how to prepare for a hearing, and includes a mock UC hearing.

Our seminar will explain how the process works and how to prepare for the hearing. A few important points we will explain include:
  • The different levels of an appeal
  • Due process elements
  • The burden of proof
Have you ever been curious about a UC Appeals Hearing? What goes on behind the closed doors after a Hearing begins? Join us as two representatives from the Board of Review take us through a Mock Hearing.
  • See how hearings work.
  • Observe the “dos and don’ts.”
Ask questions so that you can be better prepared for your next Hearing.
