Description:
Practice the pinch pot technique by constructing a pinch pot in the form of a small bird. Discussion includes ideas for finishing the bird with glazing techniques. Participants will complete construction of at least one bird.
Participants will learn:
- pinch pot method of forming clay
- seaming and closing a pinch pot
- to score and use slip to attach wings
Materials:
Clay of choice and basic clay tools.
