Members to Experience Temporary Service Disruptions
March 18 - March 24, 2025 (dates subject to change)
The Texas Counseling Association is upgrading multiple elements of our website and databases to enhance the member experience. During the transition period from March 18 to March 24, some services will be temporarily unavailable. Below are answers to common questions about how this change may affect you and actions you may need to take:
How will my experience on the TCA website be affected during this transition?During the transition period, certain features of the TCA website will be temporarily unavailable, including access to your member profile, the member’s area, event registration, and our Online Learning platform. Additionally, membership dues payments will be unavailable during the blackout period. Previous transaction history will not be lost and will be ported over during the switch.
What happens to my online CE certificates?
Your online CE certificates housed in the current system will NOT be transferred to the new database. Please log in and download copies of your Online Learning certificates before March 17.
Please follow these steps to download your certificates for your personal record retention:
Login as a TCA member
Select “Education” in the nav bar
Select “Online Learning” in the drop down menu
Select the “Member Access” button
Select “Click Here to Begin” under the “My Certificates” section
Your list of Certificates will be available to download and save
Any autopay schedules and all attached credit cards/ACH information in our current system will be deleted and not transferred over. When we launch our new database, on/around March 24, members will need to update their autopay information to avoid disruption of membership. More information and detailed instructions will be sent once the new system is in place.
How will I stay informed about additional changes?
We will provide ongoing updates via email and on our social media channels. Be sure to check your inbox and follow us on social media to stay informed about the transition and any further impacts. #TCAUpdates #StayInformed
