Event Description
The 2026 annual and special meeting of Canadian Association of Wireless Internet Service Providers / Association Canadienne des Fournisseurs Internet Sans Fil (“CanWISP” or the “Corporation”) will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 2:30 PM Eastern Daylight Time virtually via Teams.
The annual and special meeting is open to all Class A Members of CanWISP and their representatives. However, only the designated member representatives (“DMRs”) of those Class A Members of the Corporation as of Thursday, April 23, 2026, or their proxyholders, have a legal right to attend, engage in discussions and vote at the formal part of the meeting. If you, as the DMR for your organization, cannot attend, or do not wish to vote, you can appoint a proxyholder, to attend and vote in your place instead. Completed Proxy forms must be submitted no later than Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 2:30 PM. Please submit your completed, signed and dated Proxy by email to ctacit@tacitlaw.com.
Individuals attending the meeting will have to identify themselves upon entry and sign in. Except where a ballot vote is required, votes shall be by a show of hands of the DMRs and proxyholders for DMRs entitled to cast votes at the meeting.
The formal part of the meeting will be followed by additional informal presentations regarding the Corporation’s activities and progress, and all meeting attendees can participate in discussions relating to those presentations.
