organizations, and funds with the intention to generate a measurable, beneficial
social or environmental impact alongside a financial return". It is a form of socially
responsible investing that serves as a guide for various investment strategies.
Mr. Berry focuses on investment consulting and reserves management for
associations and non-profits. Mr. Berry holds the Portfolio Manager designation
within Morgan Stanley’s Portfolio Management Group money management
program. He holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst and Accredited
Investment Fiduciary certifications.
He is active in the association and non-profit community. He holds memberships in
the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Finance and
Administration Roundtable (FAR). He is a past Board Secretary for the Association
Foundation Group. He has spoken at national association conferences and been
published in national association media. His topics have included writing investment policies, managing financial reserves and incorporating debt into reserve structures.
Mr. Berry has an MBA in International Finance from the University of Hartford in
West Hartford, CT and a BS in Marine Science from Eckerd College in St.
Petersburg, FL. Mr. Berry’s primary office is located in Washington, DC.
