From handbooks to terminations, human resources can be a precarious subject for any leader. HR 101 will take participants through the employment life cycle and discuss best practices and common mistakes in relation to recruitment, onboarding, retention & engagement, performance management (discipline), and separation. We’ll share information from the perspective of Human Resources professionals, and business leaders. We’ll also take a look at some of the latest concerns for small business owners, including multiple generations in our workforce, and creating policies around laws that don’t apply to small businesses.
