The Emerging Executives Committee, in partnership with Envision, an innovative global leader in corporate advising and coaching, delivers a competitive, forward-thinking talent management tool.
The Executive Leadership Program provides an external opportunity for high potential personnel to engage in a structured year-long program that will develop key competencies and skills for their current role and prepare them for responsibilities of their next role.
Four paths are offered: Advanced Business Development, Engaging & Influential Leader, Strategic & Branded Executive, and Inclusive Leader. Each path offers unique development including: mentorship with an executive, personal executive coaching, accountability, assessments and group seminars.
The Engaging & Influential Leader and Strategic & Branded Executive materials are suitable for senior leaders, as well as individuals assuming a leadership role for the first time. The Advanced Business Development materials are suitable for business development professionals at any level. The Inclusive Leader materials are suitable for cross-functional leaders, business executives, operational leaders, mid- and senior-level managers, new leaders and individuals identified in succession planning.

The Year-Long Strategic & Branded Executive Path Overview
CURRICULUM
- Attend four half-day interactive webcast seminars:
- February 22, 2023, 8a.m. – Noon *Makeup session available through May 9 for late registrants
- May 10, 2023, 8 a.m. – Noon
- September 13, 2023, 8 a.m. – Noon
- November 1, 2023, 8 a.m. – Noon
- Attend one group coaching introductory webinar and two one-on-one executive coaching sessions
- Attend two Council Meetings: The Council hosts a variety of meetings and seminars throughout the year including leadership forums designed to fulfill program requirements
- Find a mentor (self-identified or paired by the Council) and meet with the mentor at least three times in 2023. Mentor Briefing Document will be provided
- Participate in external leadership development through community or Energy Workforce involvement: work with a non-profit or Energy Workforce Committee in 2023*
- Read and complete StrengthsFinder 2.0 Assessment: purchase online here
- Attend quarterly networking events*
- Accountability Partner Engagement
- Graduation Reception held January 2024 for participants completing all program requirements

Strategic and Branded Executive Course Content
The Strategic and Branded Executive path offers leaders and high potential executives the tools needed to enhance their executive brand and presence in the first seminar. The second seminar equips leaders with strategic planning tools, process and skills to navigate toward the true potential of any size organization or corporation. Group discussions, exercises, videos and experiential coaching will emphasize uptake of content and self-reflection while linking tools and concepts to a stronger and more strategic future for each participant.
The Strategic and Branded Executive path content will guide, coach and equip leaders to learn to:
- Manage your personal brand to initiate, inspire and influence
- Build and sustain a consistent, authentic executive brand & presence
- Expand your strategic leadership competencies to lead and engage with clarity
- Communicate with clarity passion and inspiration
- Create and align objectives and goals within any size team
- To develop a focused strategic plan of action that supports and aligns with your organization’s overall strategy
