Rodney Harms joined Caterpillar in 2001 as a powertrain engineer. He continued in roles supporting powertrain operations leadership, field follow engineering, service engineering, design, and technical sales. From 2005-2012, Rodney helped launch and grow the Cat well service transmission business, a core component of the well service segment.
In 2015 he became the Cat Oil & Gas well service segment manager where he provided leadership for product strategy and development, technical sales support, and application & installation engineering. Kartapurkh S. Khalsa is Senior Counsel & Director of Customs Compliance for NOV. He is responsible for the creation and implementation of policies related to NOV’s global customs compliance program. His globally based team is responsible for ensuring compliance with the customs laws and regulations of the countries in which NOV operates.
Mr. Khalsa has developed a wide-ranging customs compliance program, including the creation and implementation of policy controls regarding classification, valuation, use of special preference programs, and controls surrounding anti-dumping/countervailing duties. This program has helped NOV alleviate penalties and properly manage compliance related risks around the world. Mr. Khalsa is NOV’s primary point of contact with U.S. Customs & Border Protection (“CBP”) and oversees the company’s responses to CBP audits. He is also responsible for the review and approval of NOV communications with CBP, including all prior disclosures, responses to requests for information and notices of action. Mr. Khalsa’s team also manages all NOV responses to inquiries from non-U.S. Customs officials and provides on-site compliance training to NOV operations around the world.
Mr. Khalsa also oversees NOV’s Supply Chain Compliance and Due Diligence processes, including conflict minerals reporting and the reporting requirements under the UK Modern Slavery Act and similar Acts in other jurisdictions.

Notably, Peter served as national counsel for a major oilfield service company after the Deepwater Horizon spill, leading related investigations and hearings.

Aaron was previously the Vice President of Engineering at Certarus, a CNG services business serving many different markets around North America. He also addresses product safety, HSE issues, and manages outside counsel. Additionally, Dan serves as the Honorary Consul General for New Zealand in Houston, covering Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma.

He also worked as a Senior Associate at Vinson & Elkins and Of Counsel at Wikborg Rein, focusing on international M&A in the energy sector. Dan clerked for Chief Judge John H.
