Senior Civil/ Wastewater Engineer - Knoxville, TN

Position Description: 
This is a long-term opportunity with a great firm located in Knoxville, TN. This is a contract-to-hire full time opportunity with the ability to grow within the role and make a big impact at a local firm.

We are seeking a full time Civil Engineer for an exciting opportunity. Qualified candidates must possess significant experience with sewer and water system design. It is with a reputable, growing company looking for someone long term for a Civil Engineer role skilled in Wastewater Design and Project Management


Duties/Responsibilities: 
• Design experience with water mains, storage tanks, and pump stations
• Sewer collection system design 
- gravity
- low pressure
- sewage pump stations
• Water System modeling
• AutoCAD experience
• Experience writing grants and acquiring funding from multiple sources such as agencies and local communities
• Good people skills
• Understand project and work flow


Education/Experience/Skills Required: 
Must be able to sit for the PE in minimum one year.

Salary: 
$110,000 - $140,000
