Job Description:
Tullahoma Utilities Authority is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the
Associate Vice President of Water and Wastewater. This role is designed as a leadership development
position, with the successful candidate expected to transition to the Vice President of Water and
Wastewater role within three years. The Associate VP will play a critical role in managing and enhancing
our water and wastewater operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving
strategic initiatives.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist the VP of Water and Wastewater in overseeing daily operations of water and wastewater
departments.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate projects and initiatives.
- Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocations for the water and wastewater
departments.
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, positivity, and continuous
improvement.
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and strategic plans to senior management and the board of
directors.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Education/ Experience/ Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering
school. Advanced degree preferred.
- A Professional Engineering license or the ability to obtain one in the state of Tennessee is preferred
- Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem
- Take initiative and responsibility for the success of the water and wastewater team.
