Financial Report – Russell Morgan, CFO
As an overview, there has been little financial activity (since we showed the details for the Skirvin Hotel last month) - other than normal monthly expenses. I will provide an updated financial report with extensive write-up (including Annual Conference analysis) by early next week. We of course will discuss the full year-end analytics on the January BOD virtual meeting.
Meetings Committee - Keith Dickinson, Chair
The committee has identified Fresno, Calif., as the preferred location for the 2023 meeting. The proposed dates are November 5-7. We have received proposals from three hotels in the Fresno area and are reviewing those. Paige Gillian volunteered to visit the hotels in person to provide her insight into quality of accommodations, etc. The committee hopes to have confirmed dates and the hotel recommendation for the Board to approve by the end of the 2022 calendar year.
Continuing Education Committee - Russell Morgan, Chair
A webinar is scheduled for noon (CT) on January 11: “Ag Economy Barometer – Insights” by Dr. James Minert, PhD, Director, Center for Commercial Agriculture, and Professor, Department of Agricultural Economics, Purdue University. A Shop Talk session is being planned for January. The proposed topic will be “Trade Show Strategies for Consultants.”
Marketing & Promotion Committee - Paige Gilligan, Chair
This committee is looking to increase the number of committee members and is waiting for the outcomes of the planning segment of the January 17 board meeting before delineating 2023 goals and activities.

The updated By-laws, dated October 25, 2022, have been posted with a certificate signed by Keith Dickinson as Vice President/Secretary at that time.
