TAC Presentation and Tour

Executing Construction Projects in Today’s Uncertain Delivery and Cost Environment

Thursday, December 15, 2022

Luncheon Description:
What’s worse than not knowing what you will have for lunch tomorrow? I’ll tell you what’s worse, not knowing if your equipment will show up on time to meet your project schedule. We are seeing more and more issues with material delivery, labor shortages and schedule delays that are effecting projects all across the country. What this means for the Owner is more costs and more headaches. Archer Western, a renowned national Construction firm with a strong local presence, will present on trends in the industry that the Country is seeing and discuss the effects on the local market. They will provide key insights on how to navigate the challenges that many Contractors and Owners are facing.

Speakers:
Ray Bolter is a Project Manager at Archer Western. He has been in the water industry for 23 years and working with Archer Western for the past 18 years. He graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Bill Nelson is a Project Manager for Archer Western. He has been in the water industry for 40 years and has been working with Archer Western for the past 13 years.  He contributed to his first treatment plant in 1984 on a project involving digestors, final clarifiers, and an engine generator to burn methane and produce power. Yes, green processes back then! Bill graduated from University of Nebraska, Lincoln with a Construction Management degree in 1983, before most were born, before email and when we used carbon paper for copies of transmittals because we didn’t have printers or scanners on jobsites and everyone got a paper paycheck on Friday!

Luncheon Format and Location:
This month’s luncheon will be held at South Platte Renew located at 2900 S Platte River Dr, Englewood, CO   Map Link
