Events in the month of August 2022
You are invited! After another season at the boathouse back on the water (and many seasons online!) our annual Coxn/Staff Appreciation celebration is scheduled for Tuesday August 16th 6:30-8:30pm at the Boathouse. We look forward to your attendance as we present our many staff members (paid & volunteer) with words and gifts of appreciation, especially those going off to college for the first time. As it has already been asked, if you would like to make an optional gift of thanks to any of our staff members you may do so at this event or we have set up an online link on our website (www.rowcmi.org >Donations> Gifts of Gratitude) where you can use your credit card and direct an amount or words as you would like. --> Gifts of Gratitude
Sandwiches, pizza, and water will be provided. If you would like to bring a little something to share at the festivities please do keep it small and simple (self-serve,ready to eat, easy to clean up). In order to avoid having too much and anything going to waste please email administrator@rowcmi.org so we can help coordinate.
This year we have one extra item we'd like to accomplish before the celebration- a CMI fleet photo!! Yes, we are attempting to get all of our 4s, doubles, and singles on the water and in a photo. Please let us know if your crew or you can help make this happen between 5-6:30pm that night. Our goal is to launch then gather out on the water for a photo then bring them all back in again before we celebrate our staff and end of summer. Our awesome Program Director, Frank Townsend, will be coordinating crews/rowers to boats so please email him programdirector@rowcmi.org if you are interested in taking part or have a drone you would like to use.

PS. If you are thinking fall rowing... it will start around Sept 6th for 7 or 8 weeks. Those details are being fine tuned and should be out in the next week or so.
