Come out for a fun and exciting day of volunteering at the park! Friends and family are more than welcome. Feel good about giving back to your community while enjoying quality time with each other. This year the YPs will be out at Eisenhower Park with Denver Parks and Recreation mulching trees, painting, weeding, and removing debris to help keep our parks looking fabulous! ThirstyFest is a completely volunteer-led craft beer festival supported by the Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association Water for People (RMWEA-WFP). All net-proceeds from the event go to Water For People, a Denver-based international non-profit that envisions a world where every person has access to reliable and safe water, sanitation, and hygiene services. Water For People works with local governments to help create safe drinking water and sanitation systems and currently works in nine countries across Latin America, East Africa and Asia.

The Rocky Mountain Water Conference 2022 will be held September 18 - 21 at the Keystone Conference Center in Keystone, Colorado and our theme is "Welcome Back!". This will be the 94th Annual Conference for the Rocky Mountain Section of AWWA and the 84th Annual Conference for the Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association. Over 900 attendees are expected including utilities, managers, operators, vendors, engineers, regulators, students, and others. We are preparing an excellent technical program and are continuing many of the exhibit hall and networking features that have made this conference the premier water industry event. The technical program includes an Operator Training focus on Tuesday and expanded technical and managerial subjects. This year we will have a service project in the Denver area on Saturday; the 5k Fun Run/Walk on Sunday; American inventor, author, scientist and engineer, and TEDx speaker Gitanjali Rao as the keynote speaker for Monday’s opening general session; a networking event on Tuesday evening with a corn hole competition benefiting Water Equation and Water For People; Operations Challenge Demonstration on Wednesday, and many other exciting conference features. And of course, the popular golf tournament will be held on Sunday at the Keystone River Course. We hope to see you in Keystone!
