The Rocky Mountain Section of the American Water Works Association and the Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association are proud to partner with the University of Denver to deliver two cohorts of the Rocky Mountain Leadership Academy in 2024.

This two-day program develops the knowledge, tools, and skills today’s leaders need to successfully manage and lead a team. The curriculum combines academic knowledge and industry practices to deliver a comprehensive program, which benefits professionals from a variety of backgrounds.

Whether you have a few years of experience in leadership or are stepping into a management role for the first time, the Rocky Mountain Leadership Academy will help you reach your leadership potential.

Please join us at LPC for a fun and educational tour of the SeaCrest WET lab in Louisville, CO

SeaCrest Group is an environmental lab that has been specializing in Whole Effluent Toxicity (WET) testing for over 30 years. Along with Ceriodaphnia dubia and Daphnia pulex, SeaCrest Group is one of the few labs in the area to also culture fathead minnow in house.  Aside from WET testing, Seacrest Group is also trained in conducting TSS/TDS and E. coli. Come check out the lab and learn about WET testing!

The Western Colorado Water and Wastewater Conference will be held in Grand Junction this fall is an essential annual event for the Western Slope water and wastewater industry.

·    Includes insight into studies, design, construction, or operation of facilities
·    Introduces new technology and/or innovation in water, wastewater, Collections and Distribution
·    Demonstrates unique use of existing technology
·    Highlights various approaches to problem solving
·    Provides information on regulatory issues

ThirstyFest is a completely volunteer-led craft beer festival supported by the Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association Water for People (RMWEA-WFP). All net-proceeds from the event go to Water For People, a Denver-based international non-profit that envisions a world where every person has access to reliable and safe water, sanitation, and hygiene services. Water For People works with local governments to help create safe drinking water and sanitation systems and currently works in nine countries across Latin America, East Africa and Asia.
