As an integral part of our team, the Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage ocular diseases, and provide exceptional care tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient. Our clinic specializes in advanced dry eye and glaucoma treatments, including IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) therapy and SLT (Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty), offering a unique opportunity to practice at the forefront of optometric care.
State of the art equipment including: OCT, VR VF, Optos Manaco, K Topography, Icare tonometry, Meibography, IPL, MG Expression, Ellex Tango Yag Laser, Two dedicated exam lanes with digital refracting systems, full-time scribe, two technicians per doctor, two dedicated exam lanes, etc.
This position offers an excellent work-life balance with a 4-5 day work week, no weekends, and the opportunity to practice in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages.
Diagnose and manage ocular diseases, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
Provide specialty treatments, such as IPL and SLT .
Prescribe corrective lenses and educate patients on eyewear options.
Co-manage surgical patients with local ophthalmologists.
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using our EHR system.
Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
Educate patients on preventive eye care, nutrition, and lifestyle factors influencing ocular health.
