Daniel is an ARIA Award winning record producer and with over 25 years experience in the Australian music industry. He has produced and arranged for a vast array of significant artists including Alex Lloyd, Eskimo Joe, Frente, Max Sharam, Megan Washington, Midnight Oil, Powderfinger, Silverchair, The Cruel Sea and The Whitlams.
In 2006 Daniel Produced the ARIA Award winning ''Bach Solo Partitas and Sonatas'' for violinist Richard Tognetti, after nearly 10 years of collaboration with The Australian Chamber Orchestra. He was 30 Seconds To Mars' conductor and arranger for the 2005 MTV Awards and Barry Gibbs' Australian musical director for the Sound Relief concerts in 2009.
In 2010 he produced the ARIA Award winning album ''Tangier'' for the late Billy Thorpe and in 2012 he directed, arranged and produced Megan Washington's sell out Sydney Festival show ''Insomnia'' at the Sydney Opera House and followed that with Dappled Cities' ''The Future Is Baroque'' in 2013. In 2013 Daniel produced and co-wrote Thai band Slot Machine's album ''Rainbow'', including the single ''Kloem'', which has over 99 million YouTube hits. In the last 18 months Daniel was musical director, music producer and co-composer for the Netflix animated series Beatbugs where he has overseen performances by Sia, Rod Stewart, Regina Spektor , Eddie Vedder and Pink to name a few. He also produced 18 tracks for the series including Blackbird featuring Sia and co-composed the score with Daniel Johns and Mark Mothersbraugh. During this period he was musical director for the indigenous youth series “Ready For This” which has won many awards including the AACTA for best Children’s Television.
Daniel recently composed the music for a 6 part Foxtel drama " Fighting Season" and is currently arranging brass and strings for Motown Magic for Netflix.
