Owner Scholarship Applications

Owners are a important member of the design-build team. A well-informed Owner can set the stage for a successful project from procurement through execution. There is a mental shift with design-build projects.

The Louis J. Martinez Owner Scholarship Fund provides funding to help defray costs for qualified Florida Owners to attend, participate in and/or provide volunteer support to DBIA conferences, training sessions, programs and activities. While we can't guarantee all requests will be granted, this fund can help cover registration costs, lodging and occasionally travel expenses.

Applications for the 2025 conference will not be approved until August 2025. For conference reimbursement, those traveling more than 70 miles may request a $100 travel stipend. Meals will not be reimbursed.
