GLMA: Health Professionals Advancing LGBTQ+ Equality


Please use this portal to submit your abstract to present at GLMA's 43rd Annual Conference on LGBTQ+ Health.

*Prior to beginning the submission process, we ask that you review the Guidelines for Submitting Abstracts. These guidelines highlight expectations for abstracts, and include a description of the 2 types of abstracts that will be considered for the GLMA Annual Conference: Workshops and Original Research.*

Once you have read the guidelines and are ready to begin your submission, we highly recommend that you open up the Instructions for Online Abstract Submission document to help you navigate through the submission portal. The Guidelines for Submitting Abstracts linked above includes a Sample Abstract for reference.

To start the submission process, please click "Submit New Abstract" and then click "Continue without Logging In." This will take you to the first page of the submission portal. Once you submit your presenter information, you will receive an e-mail containing a unique passcode and instructions on how to access that submission at a later time. For those of you submitting multiple abstracts, the system will generate a unique passcode for each abstract you submit, so be sure to keep track of your passcodes.

Please note: If you would like to submit multiple abstracts, you must complete a separate new submission for each one.

In order for your proposal to be complete, you must:
  1. Complete this online application (including contact information for EVERY presenter - but do not include individuals who will not be presenting).
  2. Make sure that you (and your co-presenter(s), if applicable) have completed the linked Presenter Form. Each presenter must complete the form (which includes disclosing financial relationships, uploading a CV and headshot, and including a bio and demographics). **Completed Presenter Forms are required in order for your proposal to be evaluated.** The Primary presenter is responsible for sharing the link and confirming that each presenter has submitted their form, so it is highly encouraged that you share the form link BEFORE beginning the abstract submission process.
Completed proposals must be submitted by the deadline of 11:59 PM ET April 22nd, 2025. **This will be the only deadline extension this year.** The system will automatically shut down and abstracts not fully submitted by this time will not be accepted.
