2021 MiALA Annual Conference Update
Dear MiALA Members:
The MiALA board is moving the 2021 Annual Conference, originally scheduled for May 13-14, 2021, at the Holiday Inn at Ferris State University – Big Rapids, to a virtual platform. Our 2020 schedule of programming and presentations will remain the same, with the possibility of additional breakout sessions to be added. The conference committee will also invite a new keynote speaker. Scholarships awarded for the 2020 conference will be honored, and there is potential for additional scholarship opportunities. Please stay tuned for more information.
Delivery platforms are being investigated and more information will be made available as soon as possible.
These continue to be unusual times. Considering the wellbeing and potential financial hardships of our membership, moving forward with a virtual conference is the best decision we can safely make with the currently available information. Won’t it be wonderful when we can safely meet each other again? In addition to the enriching learning opportunities, I look forward to meeting new friends and networking face-to-face, conference highlights to be sure!
