The San Diego Mountain Biking Association 

invites you to attend a very special event at the San Dieguito River Park  
Tacos for Trails
on October 12, 2017 at the at the historic Sikes Adobe Farmstead.  

SDMBA is working on some big efforts around the county as we head into 2018, including the Sweetwater Bike Park and more new trails at Black Mountain.  The most ambitious of these efforts is the Pamo Valley Trails Plan in partnership with the US Forest Service. Proceeds raised from this event will go to support the Pamo Valley Plan Building Fund as well as support SDMBA's general fund so we can keep the wheels turning smoothly. 

Schedule of Fun:  
3:30 Demo bikes available from TREK Superstores, Zumwalt's Bicycle Center, Ellsworth Handcrafted Bicycles. 

4:00 p.m. Optional, guided, moderate ride at Lake Hodges. SDMBA Waivers and Helmets required.  Bring anything required for a safe and comfortable ride. 

5:00 p.m.  The Historic Sikes Adobe Farmstead venue open for socializing and for those not able to join the ride.  Enjoy a cold beer from Alpine Beer Company featuring Truck Trail Ale while you browse a very select group of unique silent auction items and enjoy Latin Jazz from Los Curanderos. 

6:30 p.m.  Catered Taco dinner will be served featuring delicious carne asada, chicken and pork adobada tacos, rice, beans, quesadillas, guacamole, and all the fixings. Aguas Frescas and water available also. 

7:00 p.m. Presentation by Garrett Villanueva, USFS Regional Trail Program Manager, about the partnerships that are making amazing trail projects possible within our public lands in San Diego and across the region and a preview of the upcoming Trails Stewardship Summit in early November.
