MDA Workshop: So You Think You Have a Parking Problem

The MDA's second workshop of 2015 will be held on Mackinac Island on Friday, June 12. This will be during the annual Lilac Festival on the island. A more detailed program will be announced soon. In the meantime, begin reserving hotel rooms now so you are guaranteed a room on the island.
Early Bird Registration: $75 for MDA members; $100 for non-members; $20 for non-member students with a valid ID.
After June 5 and at the door registration fees will be $100 for MDA members and $150 for non-members.
Cash, check or credit card. A $3 transaction fee will be added to each registration charged using a major credit card.
Please return registration form with payment by June 5 to secure the early bird rate.
There will be a networking dinner Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. at the Pink Pony Bar & Grill located in the Chippewa Hotel. This dinner is not inlcuded in the registration fee.
We have a block of rooms being held at the Chippewa Hotel and the Lilac Tree Inn at special rates for the evening of June 11. You must reserve by May 11. At the time you make your reservation you will be charged a $100 room deposit. If you cancel before 14 days prior to the workshop you will be charged $25 dollars. If you cancel later than 14 days, the $100 room deposit will NOT be refunded.

Ferry Tickets
Attendees will be provided with discounted ferry tickets. We are working with Star Line Ferry Company for a discounted rate for the MDA group. Tickets will be $18.00 per person round trip and be charged directly to your room and can be paid for at departure. The ferry lines will have a list of all the reservations and will mark off your name at arrival. Just let them know which hotel -- the Chippewa or Lilac Tree -- you'll be staying with. Both the Mackinaw City and St. Ignace boat lines will have the names. Departure times to the island for both ports are as follows:
7:30am, 9:00am, 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm, 4:00pm, 5:00pm, 6:00pm & 7:30pm.
Networking Dinner
A networking dinner will be held at the Pink Pony Bar & Grill in the Chippewa Hotel beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 11.
** Consider carpooling and sharing rooms to keep costs down. See our message boards to arrange for rides, etc.
The MDA Conference Committee is proud to be able to offer this beautiful location at this beautiful time of the year and promises you will not only enjoy yourselves, but you will learn something quite valuable to downtown managers.
