Designed to introduce the broker or sales person to larger business brokerage deals. Among other things, the course will cover the Texas Administrative Code M&A Dealer exemption for transactions involving securities, the federal securities laws application to business transfer deals in Texas, and transactions involving assets sales including real estate, whether leased or in fee simple. It will also walk the participant through the issues and the structure of the documents typically seen in larger business brokerage transactions, help the participant manage the deal process, close more transactions and generally prepare a broker or salesperson to handle larger business brokerage transactions.
