Do you have insights you would like to share about child maltreatment prevention? Are you part of an amazing program serving children, families, or communities that is making a difference? Does a research study or evaluation that you are part of have meaningful preliminary findings? Have you published an academic article related to child maltreatment that is behind a paywall that prohibits the people who need it the most from reading it? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then make sure to join the APSAC Advisor Editorial Team to talk about writing for the APSAC Advisor. There will be information presented about to write commentary, program descriptions, and present research studies for the Advisor audience, professionals from a variety of backgrounds including medicine, law, law enforcement, social work, child protective services, psychology, public health and prevention in the U.S. There will be ample time to ask questions. Practitioners and early career scholars are encouraged to attend to have the writing and publishing process demystified.
