Event Description

Welcome to Adult Indoor Training @ Cohasset Recreation Center !!!  

Experienced Coaches Abi Kornet, Karen Shusterman and Frank Townsend are back with their popular classes. Overall these classes are designed to help you build muscle, improve cardio & flexibility and fine tune your rowing technique. Each class utilizes different techniques such as  interval and/or endurance work on indoor rowing machines, plus stretching and exercises off the erg.  

This second session will run Saturday, December 14 to Thursday, January 23- No Classes Holiday Break Wed 12/22-12/26 (BUT drop-in classes will run that week!)  Over the winter various 5-week sessions will continue through the end of March. NOTE classes are 1hr 15 mins (vs last winter season only 1hr). Many classes fill up quickly and requesting to sign up for one-off dates is possible but must be approved by each coach (*priority to those who sign up for the full session.)

Sign up for 1x for $150 or 2x a week for $280, 3x for $385, 4x for $450 or sign up for individual dates $30*.

SAT    7:00-8:15am   Karen's Advanced/Experienced higher intensity interval & endurance work
TUE    6:30-7:45am    Karen's VIRTUAL via Zoom Mixed Format **
WED   6:00-7:15am    Frank's Technique coaching followed by interval workouts- all levels welcome
WED   8:00-9:15am   Frank's Technique coaching followed by interval workouts- all levels welcome
THU    6:30-7:45PM    Karen's Combo of intervals, floor exercises & mobility work geared for class fitness level

NEW One-off sessions - dates to be added soon!!   Coach Abi and Coach Karen will provide two alternating type of classes. One will be a Learn To Row (LTR) for those newer rowers (or parents of rowers) so they can either join our weekly classes or get a head start toward being part of our summer program on the water in May 2025. The other will be an interval workout with technique work to help rowers optimize their stroke and improve their overall performance (or simply get in a good workout)!

All classes minimum: 5 rowers to run class with a max of 12 participants
